OCCUPY THIS THEATER
THEATER FOR THE 99%

SICK OF CORPORATE THEATER FILLED WITH BRUTALITY, OBSCENITY AND TRIVIA, for the bourgeoisie, BOUGHT THEATER?

HERE IS THEATER FOR THE COLLECTIVE.
 THEATER FOR A NEW WORLD.

THEATER WHICH LOOKS AT HOW THE DYSFUNCTIONAL MATRIX OF OUR SOCIETY DESTROYS THE HUMAN HEART AND THE PLANET.

THESE ARE TO BE READ, LIKE GOOD FICTION. TO BE PERFORMED OUTSIDE, INSIDE, IN THE KIVA, THE LODGE, THE FIELD, THE THEATER.

OUR PLAYWRIGHTS ARE OFFERING THEIR WORK FOR FREE, OR PASS THE HAT TO SEND A CONTRIBUTION.

THESE PLAYS ARE NOT PART OF THE COMMONS; often years go into creating a work, so THEY NEED ATTRIBUTION EVEN THOUGH THE AUTHOR IS ANONYMOUS. THEY ARE COPYRIGHTED AND CANNOT BE GREATLY MODIFIED. THE TITLE OF THE PLAY AND THE ANONYMOUS AUTHOR SHOULD BE ATTRIBUTED.

OTHER THAT THAT: GO PLAY, CHANGE THE WORLD.

The First Three Plays:

POOR, Occupy  this theater: A human being has lost everything: job, home, marriage. There is nothing more to lose.

It Can't Happen Here:  based on the Sinclair Lewis novel in which a crazed president and his advisors take over America, while a Vermont newsman tries to fight back.

The Shame of Daniel Shays: 18th century farmers rebel against debt and foreclosure. Many are Revolutionary War Vets. Called "terror makers" by the elite, the militia will not fire on them, the people are with them. They change the course of history.
